Specifications change, prices move, and new references launch. Pages are reviewed and updated on a rolling basis to ensure accuracy. Last-updated dates are included on key reference content.
Editorial Standards
1. Source Hierarchy
Primary sources take precedence: official manufacturer specifications, press releases, and in-house documents. Secondary sources (trusted watch journalism, auction house records) are cross-referenced. Unverified forum claims or social media speculation are never used as editorial fact.
2. Fact-Checking Protocol
All specifications (case diameter, water resistance, movement caliber, power reserve) are verified against at least two independent sources before publication. Historical claims - founding dates, invention credits, patent records - are verified against official brand archives or peer-reviewed horological literature.

6. Expertise Requirement
All substantive content - brand histories, collector guides, valuation frameworks - is written or reviewed by individuals with direct experience in luxury watch collecting, horological research, or professional watch dealing.
The Team
Ira Zoot is the founder of iDigits LLC and the driving force behind WorldWideWatch. A longtime technology entrepreneur and passionate watch collector, Ira started the site to fill a gap he experienced as a collector: a single, trustworthy source covering brand history, model specifications, buying guidance, and collector intelligence - without the noise of paid rankings or brand PR.
His personal collection spans Swiss sports watches to independent haute horlogerie, giving WorldWideWatch's editorial perspective the grounding of real collecting experience rather than arm's-length research.
