Sourcing
Every factual claim - reference numbers, calibre details, production years, water resistance - is verified against primary sources: brand archives and official press materials, manufacturer service documents, and recognised auction-house catalogues from Phillips, Sotheby's and Christie's. Where a primary source is unavailable, the article cites the most authoritative secondary source and says so plainly.
Fact-checking
Editorial drafts are reviewed against at least two independent sources before publication. Specifications are cross-checked with the manufacturer's own published data. Historical context is verified against established horology references. We do not republish unverified claims from forums or social media.
Updates & freshness
When a manufacturer announces a new reference, discontinues a model, or revises a calibre, the relevant article is updated and the visible 'Last updated' date is changed. We do not silently edit pages - substantive corrections are noted in the article body.
Corrections policy
If you believe an article contains a factual error, please write to ira@iDigits.com with the page URL and the source you'd like us to consider. Verified corrections are made promptly and acknowledged in-line on the article.
Editorial independence
WorldWideWatch is operated by iDigits LLC. We do not accept payment from manufacturers, dealers, or auction houses to influence editorial coverage. We do not run sponsored articles disguised as editorial. Where a page contains an affiliate or commercial link, that relationship is disclosed in line and on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
What we don't do
We do not publish speculative price predictions, hype-driven 'investment' calls, or fabricated specifications. Where the secondary market is described, it is described qualitatively rather than with invented dollar figures. We are an editorial reference, not a marketplace.
