How to use this guide
- ▸ Measure with a flexible tape around the widest point of your wrist, just below the bone.
- ▸ Lug-to-lug span overrides diameter - a 40 mm watch with 52 mm lugs will overhang a 16 cm wrist.
- ▸ Case thickness matters too: 12 mm or less for under-cuff dress wear; 13–16 mm for sport.
- ▸ Strap width typically equals half the case diameter (40 mm case → 20 mm lugs).
